Lesson 1 - 19:00-20:00 - 4 Students.

We started talking about why we were tired, as both the student and myself were tired. The student from work, me from biking over 20 kilometres. The student spoke about some of the long bike rides they had done and we both mentioned injuries we had got from pushing ourselves too hard. We spoke about the guests from Nano Village who are currently staying in Nano House for a few days. One of the students had met them earlier in the day while walking home. We also talked about the upcoming trip to Miho Museum and what they had at the museum, such as a modern art exhibition. We spoke about modern art, which none of us in the class liked; we all find it confusing or silly. We then started to talk about Velco parties, such as the upcoming Halloween party and the Christmas parties, which I shall be missing. I can't make the Otsu Halloween party as I have a friend coming down from Hamamatsu, and we finished the lesson discussing Hamamatsu and why my friend chose to go there.

Lesson 2 - 20:00-21:00 - 5 Students.

We spent a large part of the first half of the lesson talking about the TV program Thunderbirds. They have a new CGI series out now. I will not watch it, as I grew up with the puppet show. We discussed our favourite thunderbird craft (Mine was Thunderbird 2) and the characters. We also talked about some other old TV shows. Puppets brought us to Punch and Judy, which we discussed and agreed it didn't seem like a children's' show. I said that Britain was weird, such as celebrating the 5th of November - a failed attempt to blow up the houses of parliament. We talked about fireworks for a while, the difference between the celebrations in England and Japan and how often they have firework displays. Apparently, there is somewhere that has a short firework display on the second and fourth Friday of every month as it is a discount day; apparently Karaoke is cheaper. We finished the lesson talking about Karaoke songs we sing and where we go, the Muppets doing Bohemian Rhapsody and modern songs.
