数ヶ月ぶりに参加してくださった生徒さん、また一緒に英語の勉強ができること、
大変嬉しく思っております　どうもありがとうございます！！

今回は「話法」を取り上げました。
直接話法から間接話法への言い換え、４つのパターンを紹介させていただきました。

①肯定文
　say,said はそのまま使用し、say(s) to~, said to ~はふつう　tell(s)～, told～ にかえる
 Mary said, "I am too tired to go out."
 Mary said (that) she was too tired to go out.

 She said to him, "I'm going to New York tomorrow."
 She told him that she was going to New York the next day.

②疑問文

　a.疑問詞のない疑問文　ask+人+ if (whether)
    Linda said to me, "Is there any problem?"
    Linda asked me if there was any problem.

  b.疑問詞のある疑問文　ask + 人 + where / what / why ...
　　　I said to Eddie, "When are you going to New Zealand?"
      I asked Eddie when he was going to New Zealand.

③命令文　tell + 人+ to do
   She said to him, "Finish your homework fast."
   She told him to finish his homework fast.

④please ~, Will you ~?　の依頼の文　　ask + 人+ to do
　　She said to me, "Will you turn on the light?"
    She asked me to turn on the light.

話法の転換(直接→間接、間接→直接にかえること）の際に重要となってくる「時制の一致」については、
また次回(11月10日の予定です）話法の転換の復習をした後で説明させていただきます。
